Riihimäki Risto

Risto Riihimäki works in VIA Group as Senior Consultant. His expertise includes strategy-driven business, leadership and management, account management, sales and marketing development projects of organizations.

He possesses seven years of extensive domestic and international experience in ICT- (telecommunications and information technology) driven management consulting. Furthermore, he has a ten-year-experience in and large account management and other sales and marketing positions in companies such as Ericsson, Oracle, and IBM. In addition Risto Riihimäki has been an entrepreneur for seven years owing 50 % of shares of the engineering office that employed up to 11 employees.

Risto Riihimäki has graduated from Helsinki University of Technology, Department of Electrical and Communications Engineering, in 1998 (Master of Science in Electrical Engineering). His major was Telecommunications and minor International Economics and Finance. Further he has graduated from Helsinki Institute of Technology in 1976 (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering). His specialization was Electric Power Engineering. In addition Risto Riihimäki is taking a degree of executive Master of Business and Administration in Consulting arranged by VIA Group. He has also participated on many courses and development programs in leadership and management, sales and marketing, and ICT.
